POLINI 135 cc ENGINE KIT – POMPOSA 500 KM REPLICA –
EVOLUTION SMALL FRAME TUNING KIT
Directly inspired by the configuration used by the
Polini Team in the famous Pomposa 500
Km, this kit represents one of the most complete
performance setups available for Vespa Small Frame models.
This configuration is based on the experience gained in
endurance racing, where reliability, torque and performance must
work together for hundreds of kilometres while the engine is
constantly operating at maximum output.
This kit makes it possible to build a high-performance engine,

Technical note
The Vespa used by the Polini Team in the
Pomposa 500 Km was equipped with a 24/72
primary drive ratio, specifically developed for racing and
optimised for the characteristics of the circuit.
For this configuration, we have instead selected the
Polini 27/69 primary drive, which we consider more
suitable for the type of use most frequently requested by our
customers.
This is the ratio we most often recommend because it makes
excellent use of the engine's torque while providing a very good
balance between acceleration, mid-range performance, top speed and
riding comfort.
This choice makes the engine more enjoyable and versatile in
everyday use, without sacrificing the high performance that
distinguishes this tuning setup.
A configuration born from experience
A solution designed for enthusiasts who want to build a
top-level engine using carefully selected Polini components to
achieve high performance, reliability and maximum riding
enjoyment.
Kit intended for use on closed racing circuits. For use
on public roads, please contact the competent vehicle registration
authority and check the regulations applicable in your
country.
