Funzione in CC (corrente continua), ottima soluzione per quando si montano fanali LED. Quando si monta il kit faro a led la lampadina della luce del contachilomentri si stressa di più a causa del carico maggiore di corrente che ha dovuto al fatto che il faro richiede meno corrente per funzionare. In molti casi salta la lampadina oppure scalda troppo e nell'ultimo caso può danneggiare il quadrante del contachilometri.
Da collegare alla luce di posizione.
